nonprofit day program in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

joyful, inviting, and engaging for our participants.
A Shining Update
Since first launching the Keep Shining website, a lot has been happening behind the scenes. We are excited about the generosity of friends and family as we launched our first fundraising campaign for our startup costs. We still have a ways to go, so please keep sharing what we are doing with your family, friends, and any other people you know who may have a heart for someone with developmental disabilities. In addition to reaching out to individual donors, we have been applying for some local grants. We are searching for a location in central/southern Chester County for the program. We now have merch! Our Mission
Keep Shining is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals living with complex developmental disabilities. Our focus is to provide an environment where adults age 18 and older can thrive socially, physically, intellectually, and spiritually.

Social Skills Develpment
Opportunities for participants to engage in conversation practice, group activities, conflict resolution and emotional awareness
Recreational and
Creative Activities
Art, music, adaptive sports, gardening, and role playing will be incorporated into the weekly schedule
Who We Are
Our story
Two years ago, God connected Amy and Stephanie. Amy with a passion and heart for those with special needs, and Stephanie living a life advocating for special needs because of her son, Caleb. In December 2025, Caleb graduated out of the school system and needed a place to continue to socialize and maintain his skills. Because of his complex needs, and the lack of availability of adult day programs in the Chester County, PA area, Amy and Stephanie were called to open an adult day program to help address this growing need. They prayed for guidance about what God wanted them to do and by March 25, 2026 they had registered their name and incorporated in Pennsylvania... Keep Shining. They filed their application to become a 501(c)(3) and thought that would be a long approval process, but it turned into a testimony of God‘s power and faithfulness. Their application was approved in five days! God is on the move! Stay tuned to this website for updates about their progress and how you can be a part of this ministry. Amy and Stephanie, along with their husbands, family and friends are excited to see more of God‘s power and faithfulness at work.
